House Fire in Dacula
The quiet night
along River Pass Court was disrupted after a fire broke out in 100 block last
Saturday, October 1. According to authorities, a neighbor reported the incident
at around 8 pm. Investigation shows that the fire started in the front porch
from possibly a faulty extension cord. Somebody tried to extinguish it using a
garden hose but to no avail. The fire alarms failed to work because of the
location of the fire. Six people were displaced including a child. One adult
was treated due to inhalation of smoke but he is in a stable condition now. The
American Red Cross has stepped up to assist the family. If you wish to offer
